Dance & Holiday Camps Reigate

Reigate Dance Centre had their 2nd summer school recently, and the children had a multitude of dance, crafty activities, acro skills and drama activities offered to them.

Our dance teachers and older helpers made it a 3-day fun fest, with children aged between 4 & 11. We had three age specific groupings, which allowed our teachers to plan activities, games and dance routines for their age ranges.

Dance activities included hoe-downs, street jazz, ballet & contemporary styles, and we had some acro dance routines blended in within the music tracks. Children devised their own choreography in places and brought their drama skills into action with our popular stories. Craft and games were high on the menu also, and the children enjoyed the variety we offered.

Day 3 brought together many of the activities from the first two days, and parents viewed a half hour demonstration in the afternoon.

A huge well done to all our great dance teachers and fabulous assistants and helpers, all of whom made the experience memorable.
