Starlight Performing Arts Foundation courses Reigate

Our Starlight Performing Arts courses have gained a great reputation for quality musical theatre training for children in Reigate, Redhill & Merstham. Our main Saturday course (which has over 11 groups being taught) is thriving and provides children of all ages and abilities to integrate singing, dancing and acting from 4+ all the way up to 17 years of age, with many of our seniors going on to vocational colleges with a strong foundation in theatre. We also have a foundation course for little ones (ages 4 - 7) on a Monday.

  • STARTING: Wednesday 20th April 2022

  • DAY: Wednesdays

  • VENUE: Colman Redland Centre, Croydon Rd, Reigate

  • CLASS LENGTH: 1 hour

4.00 - 5.00pm: Reception and Year 1

5.30 - 6.30pm: Years 2 & 3

  • COST: 2 week free trial, then the balance would be £42 for the whole 11 week term (this includes 3 more free classes).

These classes will introduce musical theatre through dance, singing and drama, with technique being taught via modern jazz, and the addition of tap will be a fresh rhythmical and exciting element. Children will learn the core techniques of modern jazz and then apply them in exciting musical theatre routines, so children improve their dance & performance skills without realizing they are learning.

All classes are led by ex West End performers who have a great deal of teaching longevity as well, so your children benefit from their teaching and performing experience.

Why Starlight Performing Arts?

  1. Top industry teaching faculty with longevity in West End performing & teaching experience

  2. Annual shows at the Harlequin plus many local events - many pupils have also performed in London such as the Royal Albert Hall and with Strictly Come Dancing stars at the Harlequin

  3. Focused programs with a clear path to progression - not just endless routines but core technique so that pupils realize their potential and develop their skill set as well as their confidence

  4. Established older classes for children to progress - a clear vision from ages 4 through to 17

  5. Peer groups kept small - we don't put large age ranges in one class, so children benefit from learning with their peers

  6. Being part of an established dance school, you can be assured that the faculty has the resources to provide the most diverse and best training for the stage in the area

  7. Additional dance, private singing and LAMDA classes for those who want to further their training - ballet, contemporary, modern jazz, contemporary, tap and acro.

  8. Assurance - we are one of the longest running musical theatre courses in the area, and the most established dance school in the south east

  9. Proven and long track record
